Private Coaching

CT specialises in arranging tailor-made courses for groups and clubs, covering both skills-based courses e.g. river running, freestyle etc and BCU/UKCC courses e.g. BCU/UKCC whitewater safety & rescue, 4 star etc. Basically whatever you want!

And, as these closed courses are charged ‘per coach’ rather than ‘per person’, they can offer a significant financial saving.

In addition, they can be run at times and locations to suit you.

Individual Coaching
If you would prefer 1:1 coaching, or if there are just a couple of you wanting a tailor-made session, full day courses can be arranged. As costs are based on ‘per coach’ rather than ‘per student’ the cost for a full day of individual coaching will be £195.

Skills Courses
Skills courses can cover any aspect of whitewater kayaking or canoeing, from advanced river running to intro to freestyle and can be just for a day or for a whole weekend. If there’s a group of you and you want a coaching session tailored to your needs then contact the coaching department to see what they can arrange for you.

Maximum group size is 4 students per coach.  Larger groups can be accommodated – please contact the Centre for details

Contracted BCU/UKCC Courses for Clubs and Groups

Any of the BCU courses (including the new BCU/UKCC scheme courses) listed as sceduled courses at CT can be run as contracted courses for your group or club on dates to suit you.

If there are a few of you interested in attending a BCU/UKCC course, contact the Centre to see what they can sort out for you.

The cost is dependent on which course you want to run but with a full group it is considerably cheaper (and easier!) to arrange a closed course than to book multiple places onto a scheduled course.
