Why break the bank travelling abroad when there's adventure to be had right here in beautiful Snowdonia!
So did you get round to doing anything exciting in 2009 after all? Feeling a little stodgy and un-fit after all the trimmings? Well, fear not, we can scare the spare tyre right off you because we are are a dam-controlled river with releases almost all year round. We have water even when other rivers are dry. So come on, never mind the cold! Get whitewater rafting! And if you book in January or February we'll even make it cheaper for you. Have a Happy New Year.
It’s really rather gorgeous!
We’re rightly proud of our Tryweryn Trail, so if being wet doesn’t float your boat you could always take a walk on the wild-side through the beautiful woods that line the river. Mature mossy oak, delicate willow, polyoddy ferns (now you’re curious!), await your exploration.
Situated in the Snowdonia National Park, our nearest town of Bala caters for tourists all year round and can be reached easily from all major towns and cities. The area has an excellent and diverse range of accommodation, places to eat and attractions to suit all tastes. You can find some some useful links to accommodation providers here.
