Parental Consent

Parental consent is required for all customers (whitewater rafting, kayaking and canoeing) who are under the age of 18 and are participating in Canolfan Tryweryn adventure activities. Whitewater rafting, canoeing and kayaking are assumed risk activities. In signing on behalf of a minor under the age of 18, the adult fully accepts these risks and agrees for the minor to particiate in the activity.

Parental consent may be given by a parent, guardian or responsible adult acting in loco parentis. The adult who signs on behalf of the minor remains resonsible for the minor for the duration of the adventure activity.

Parental consent forms may be downloaded here and can be signed in advance of arrival at Canolfan Tryweryn. Alternatively, responsible adults may sign on behalf of minors at reception upon arrival.
